Our Medical Services

Male sexual problems can include a variety of issues that may affect a man’s ability to engage in sexual activity or experience sexual satisfaction. Here are some common male sexual problems:

Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
Also known as impotence, ED is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. It can have physical causes such as underlying health conditions, hormonal imbalances, or psychological factors.

Premature ejaculation (PE)
PE refers to ejaculation that occurs before or shortly after penetration, often before the man’s wishes. This can be due to psychological factors, relationship issues, or physical sensitivity.

Delayed Ejaculation
This is a condition where a man has difficulty achieving ejaculation, or ejaculation is delayed significantly, making it difficult to complete sexual activity. There can be psychological or physical reasons for this.

Low libido
Also known as low sex drive, this refers to a lack of sexual desire or interest in engaging in sexual activities. It can be influenced by physical factors such as hormonal imbalance or psychological factors such as stress or relationship problems.

Performance anxiety
This is a psychological condition where a man experiences fear or anxiety about his sexual performance, leading to difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection, premature ejaculation, or other sexual problems.

It is important to note that both physical and psychological factors can contribute to many male sexual problems. If you are facing any of these problems, it is advisable to consult our doctor who is an expert in sexual health.

Female sexual problems refer to a wide range of difficulties or concerns that may affect a woman’s ability to experience sexual satisfaction or engage in satisfactory sexual activity. These problems can have many causes, including physical, psychological, and interpersonal factors. Here are some common types of female sexual problems:

Low sexual desire (hypoactive sexual desire disorder)
This refers to a persistent or recurring lack of interest in or desire for sexual activity. It can be affected by hormonal changes, relationship issues, stress, or certain medical conditions.

Female sexual arousal disorder
This involves difficulties in becoming sexually aroused or maintaining arousal during sexual activity. This can result in insufficient lubrication, decreased genital sensation, and difficulty reaching orgasm.

Orgasmic disorders
Some women may have difficulty reaching orgasm, a condition called anorgasmia, even when they are sexually aroused and engaged in sexual activity. It can be primary (lifelong) or secondary (acquired).

Painful intercourse (dyspareunia)
This refers to persistent or recurring pain experienced before, during, or after intercourse. This can be due to various factors such as vaginal dryness, infection, endometriosis, pelvic floor muscle problems, or emotional factors.

Vaginismus
This is characterised by involuntary contraction of the muscles around the outer third of the vagina, making penetration painful or impossible. It is often associated with anxiety or fear of pain during intercourse.

Sexual aversion disorder
This is an extreme and persistent fear, aversion, or avoidance of sexual contact or activities. It may be related to traumatic experiences, negative beliefs about sex, or psychological factors.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), also known as sexually transmitted infections (STIs), are infections that are spread primarily through sexual contact, including vaginal, anal, or oral sex. These infections can be caused by bacteria, viruses, or parasites. Here are some common sexually transmitted diseases:

Chlamydia
This is one of the most common bacterial STIs caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It can easily spread during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. If left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications, especially in women.

Gonorrhoea
Gonorrhoea caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae can be spread through sexual contact with an infected person. It mainly affects the genital area, but can also infect the rectum, throat, and eyes. If it is not treated it can cause serious health problems.

Syphilis
Syphilis, caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum, can be spread through sexual contact, which includes vaginal, anal, or oral sex. It progresses in stages and if left untreated, it can cause a variety of symptoms, affecting different parts of the body.

It is important to practice safe sex by using condoms consistently and correctly, getting tested regularly, and discussing sexual health with your partner and healthcare provider. If you suspect you have an STI, it is important to seek medical attention for diagnosis and treatment and to prevent further transmission.

SEX is a basic human need central to a balanced and fulfilling life

If you’re one of an estimated 150 million men worldwide who have erectile dysfunction, you will know that sex is no laughing matter. Impotency is a disease and should be dealt with as any disease.

The fact of the matter: Impotence is a medical condition for which treatments are available. Don’t be too embarrassed to see your physician.

Sexual desire is a gift from God, just like all other desires that He has built in us. The human body is a wonderful creation of God; it will not run better on high octane oil or any potency drug.

The appropriate way for a man to deal with this is to see his physician. Now you have a better opportunity to talk with our doctor on this matter to get clarifications to free your psychological apprehensions.

Drugs such as Viagra and its cousins Levitra and Cialis can cause serious side effects. Several cases of blindness have been reported from the use of these prescriptions.
