He was born into an aristocratic family of practicing traditional Unani physicians and is the glorious son of the late Hakim Dr. Mohammed Sharief Roy, a much-acclaimed physician of his time.
Inheriting his father’s “healing mantra,” Dr. Roy dedicated his life to the Unani system of medicine. Early in his practice, he recognized the profound complexities and deep knowledge required for authentic Unani, spurring an intense, lifelong research and quest for knowledge.
